I have the CTS-2300, and it covers the BW trannies.  If you work with a
shop that has ever worked on the old Ford Cruise-O, or the FMX, then
yours should be a piece of cake for them.  However, I understand that the
IHC convertor is a special beast, and can cost several hundred dollars to
rebuild, compared to more like $50 for the BW/Ford convertors that were
used in the cars.  Of course, it all depends on what model you have.

Good, Mine is supposed to include all D series, so I should be good to go

Lineset ticket lists a T-49 Auto tranny, so it looks like we may be in
buisiness.

Thanks!  I'll price an overhaul kit... then check to see what a local
tranny
shop would charge.  I'm going to guess that this probobly isn't somthing

can pick up on the fly and do myself?   Could my marine friend do it with
the manual since he has experience with other transmissions if I can't?

As above, looks like we may be in buisiness with the manual.  Too bad the
book isn't up here with me now!
