<Snip!>

: I was going to buy a regular shop-cart and a MIG cart from HF
: or Northern Hydraulics. It was going to run $75-ish for the
: two carts, but I balked at the $50 in freight or so.

I hear ya.  Like buying a $5 trading/sports card on eBay... And a $3.50
shipping & handling charge...  *&^%$#@!

<Snip!>

: But I would've been time AND money ahead to just buy the two
: carts and pay the freight. :)

But, but, but, but Tom! Look at it realistically. You built a QUALITY item.
That cheesy HF thing would have been trashed eons before your next shop
re-build was even started (or the CURRENT one finished! %^}). What you have
now is an virtual heirloom. Think when Tom Jr. (that gleam in your eye...
<cough!>) hands that down to HIS son or daughter (or refs the fight between
them over it!), you'll SWELL with pride, son!
