Re: [ihc] Robertshaw 'Stats, Anyone?

One of the best parts places I ever dealt with was a small "Mom and Pop"
store in Alameda, CA that was known as a "speed shop" of sorts-had been
pseudo-famous in the area for building racers and stuff back in the '50's to
'70's or so. It was simply called Lee's Auto Parts, but they were currently
associated with Carquest-i.e, if you went in to get a part, and didn't
specify a brand, you often got a carquest part. However, on several
occasions the thermostat I got from them, labeled as a carquest part, had
small print that said, "manufactured by RobertShaw for Carquest" and was the
proper one.

Might check a local carquest, or their website and see what you can find.

BTW, this was only about 14 months or so ago!

Good luck!

Michael
