So, my Neutral Safety Switch is bad. Should I look into repairing it,

For safety's sake you should repair your neutral safety switch. Mine
hasn't worked for the 10 or 12 years that I've owned this Scout, but
one of these days I'm going to fix it.
Well maybe I will, and maybe I won't, but I should.
