Andreas,

I love diesel engines. They are many ways superior to gas engines (no points, 
no plugs, plugwires, no cap or rotor, no carb/jets/floats) but the Scouts and 
Travellers that came with a diesel, even with a turbo are ungodly slow. So 
slow that I would rather have a 302. I drove a Traveller, and Joel B was with me 
at the time, and it felt like riding a skateboard when everyone else was 
riding a bicycle; very very slow. If you're not in a rush to go anywhere get one. 
Even my Scout 80 with a stock 152 moved faster than that Traveller with a 
turbo diesel.
