Re: T-19's a Whinin'



I had the same problem with rebuilt starters.  I cured my problem by buying
one from an International truck dealer locally.  It is a Delco factory
rebuilt for around $70-80.  Worth it not to have to change the starter every
couple months to a year.

It was wierd.  This one draws the same amps as a new one, and sounds like a
new starter.  Neither of which was ever the case with the cheap rebuilt
starters.  Lifetime warrantee or no.  I also realized that batteries do
better when the starter doesn't draw 450 amps on a cold engine.
