I gave it a whirl.. it worked OK, but not well enough to keep the 392 as
cool as I wanted to.

It came from an early 90s 3.8L V6.

I mounted it by running two steel straps vertically, one on either side of
the radiator, using the stock mounting holes for the shroud.  I then
drilled a couple holes in the Taurus shroud to hold it in place.

Tomorrow I'll be swapping a "good used" 392 into my Travelette before
finishing our trip.

The new 'mill provided about 900 trouble free miles.... :-(
