Lineset on B140 4x4
Hello all,
It's been a busy week here, moving into my c. 1900 farm house, and I
don't have email yet. But I ran into town and found that I finally
got the lineset for the B140 4x4 beast. Thought I'd share for anyone
interested!
It's indeed a B140 4x4, 129" wb and 11,000 GVWR, built not for the
Navy but for the US Atomic Energy Commission! It was shipped to the
Nevada Proving Ground. Yikes!
Here are the big parts:
FA-50 front axle, 6.16
RA-20 rear, 6.16
11" clutch
BD 264
T-16 trans
T-152 xfer case
"A_10 King Winch" and
"King Model A11 Winch"
8-foot pickup body (toldya, Mac!)
18x700 disc wheels with 9.00x18 tires,
and special color, gray.
There you have it.
Does anybody know anything about the King winches? Anyone have a
geiger counter?
:-)
Hope all's well with everyone.
Best,
Joel
PS due to pressing renovation issues at the house, will next week be
selling the 1966 1200A Travelette 4x4 and the 1960 B184 big truck, so
if you or anyone you know is interested, shoot me a line right away.
