---I know when I had my front end done at the shop in Michigan, the owner of 
the shop nicely (free of charge) changed out a spindle kit for me that was a 
Ford part. The spindle nuts he handed me were the exact nuts that were on my 
Scout II, but I had the retainer with the set screws, so the nuts were a 
spare part. I would believe the difference is the diameter of the shaft.

-<BS MODE=ENABLED)-Seems to me Scouts were more heavy duty (fleet) than 
others and they probably said "We want bigger components than everyone else"
