---Gotchya now, and I must say, even though I didn't express my concern for
your* well-being and I stated simply that I* wouldn't do it, I feel better
now knowing that you are just making a working model and I will sleep
soundly tonight knowing so. :D

---Am I guilty of the same crime you spoke of? I thought I said that it
wasn't dropped and you even said it was shorter... I didn't mean that a true
dropped pitman arm wouldn't accomplish what is expected from it. Shorter to
me meant two things in the case of the pitman arm I received and I didn't
think I could be wrong with my statement in either case. Not only did it not
extend as far forward, but in height, it was shorter from center of drag
link mounting hole to center of output shaft mounting hole. Therefore, if it
were installed, it would not have lessened the angel of the drag link, it
would have made the angle more extreme... maybe for the sole purpose of
allowing the drag link to pass over the passenger side spring when turning
the steering wheel to the right. I never installed mine because it was just
simply all wrong. They said the part number was correct and I told them I
was sending it back. Though I was kicking and screaming the fact I didn't
pay for it, they still credited me the price of $75 or whatever for the
hassle, paid for UPS pick up and initial shipping costs. Besides the fact
that it is still sitting purty, I am not unhappy with my lift kit at all,
just need the Spring-Over Conversion, Reverse Shackle Conversion, new
steering shaft/u-joint and a dropped pitman arm. Then I will be happy as a
White Tail buck in the Spring.
