After a close look, I don't think it is a 4WD. In the second picture on
eBay you can see the silhouette of the I-beam front axle. The ad says
the truck was used by a transfer case manufacturer to test noise test
their transfer cases. It looks like the truck has been set up to run on
a dyno based on the external electric fan up front and the insulation
wrapped exhaust pipe out back.
Too bad for me because I'm only about 70 miles from Berkeley and I love
the 4x4 Loadstars.

4wheel drive AND a 2speed axle? Hmmm, wonder if it's
really so. Sounds like a great way to blow up parts.
