It came up in a discussion about batteries and winching, this weekend.
I called Optima just now to confirm.  The side posts on an Optima Red-Top
are NOT sufficient for winch applications in a four-wheel drive.  The side
posts are rated for 100 Amps max, and the top posts should be used for
winching.
