Bluing, as in gun barrels, is a form of rusting, so most of the IH 
vehicles not in the SW are well on their way. <g>

Unfortunately, bluing does very little to prevent the rusty colored 
oxidation, so it wouldn't stand in the way of vehicle disintegration. 
Now maybe you could Parkerize a vehicle and get some rust protection.
