Charlie,
The back of the quarter panels actually bolt to the rear cross member, so
you will not need to support the quarters if you remove the cargo floor.
Actually, the inner quarter panel back by the tail cap is what bolts to the
rear crossmember.  When you remove the floor, depending on how much rot and
rust go suffer from, you may end up removing the middle crossmembers with
the floor.
