Dan, yes I reset the timing. But I set it to 10, and
it was way advanced before that.
 When the truck cuts out, as it did this morning, it
really seems to just stop running, doesn't sputter,
cough, gasp or anything. It's almost as if someone
took the hot wire off the coil (which I did check). It
is a very similar sound/feel to my old '75 Scouts gold
box cutting out.
