Flexibility of body tub

Hmmm.. anyone care to hazard a guess on how far I could push the bed of
a Scout II up before it tears/breaks?  Using a Port-a-power or a sledge
hammer is legal, but making a clean cut n' sectioning back in some steel
isn't.. if I could beat out another inch or two of clearance for the
upper shock mounts, that'd be great...
