Crap shoot

>The retailer said it was a "crap shoot" when it came to identifying parts
on 'binders'

Another good reason to try the Light Line guys if you have to order
ANYTHING. It is true that there are the occasional weirdos-- the non-IH 5
speeds and the 1967 diesel run come to mind-- the more I get into IH the
more straightforward it seems. The problems seem to be with the books
themselves as much as IH.

So the Light Line guys will be better than NAPA at spotting the errors, or
at least helping you identify what you have. And despite that their prices
still seem competitive.
