Mike,
   The bellhousings will be the same, as long as the spare 727 came from
an IH motor. The driveshafts are different lengths so they will need to
be replaced, it would be easier to just swap driveshafts from an auto
Scout. The kickdown rods for autos are different for each 304, 345, 392
so verify which you have. The crossmember is moved back an inch or two,
but; it should just bolt up into existing brackets. 
   You should have the vent hole on the pump behind the torque converter
sealed with a 90 deg fitting and route a hose up through the
bellhousing. This will prevent water from getting into the tranny. Also
drill and install a drain plug in the tranny pan.
