John: I am replacing the gasket on my 304 oil filter base because of a leak. after cleaning the block I found a small threaded hole above the top fron bolt on the block. It dosen't appear that anything has ever been screwed in to this hole and it is covered by the gasket. What is this? and do I need do anything with it? TIA Al
