2nd Annual Color Country Challenge
Just a reminder:
Color Country 4-Wheelers of Cedar City, Utah is hosting its Second Annual
Color Country 4x4 Challenge May 27th thru May 31st, 1999. The event will be
based at Cedar City, Utah.
Come visit the "Other Utah" for great trails,
beautiful scenery, and lots of fun. Up to six trails will be run each day
with difficulty ratings on the Moab scale of 3 to 4++. There is something
for everyone and it is possible that additional trails will be added if
demand warrants. The trail run is organized and run similar to the Easter
Safari in Moab.
The event is family oriented and complete facilities are available including
motels, camping, restaurant, theaters, parks, water slide, auto parts and
tire stores, and dealerships for most autos. Cedar City, located in the
heart of Color Country has a population of 25,000. Bryce Canyon, Zion, the
Grand Canyon and Cedar Breaks parks are just one to three hours away.
Saturday evening there will be a complementary Dutch Oven dinner for the
driver (just $5.00 per additional Adult and $3.50 for children under 12);
prepared and served by a local Boy Scout troop. Other activities that
evening include a Show and Shine competition, door prizes, vendors and a 25
degree ramp to test your vehicle's articulation.
Vehicles running trails at the Color Country Challenge must have the
following equipment.
1) Operable seat belt for driver and each passenger.
2) Hard top or roll bar.
3) Licensed in state of origin.
