"Top Oil"

Back in the early 60's or maybe late 50's, before most of you were
born, I used to buy a "top oil" by the case of 24 little bottles. It
looks like tranny fluid being kind of red and of the same consistency.
You would pour this down the carb thereby hopefully freeing  up
everything topside. It would smoke up a storm, but for some reason
smelled really good. I still have several unopened bottles of the
stuff, and if somebody were to convince me that they collected this
kind of old stuff, I'd probably give them a full bottle.
