Not much of find, but if anyone is interested:

High Point, NC

1966 Scout 800

In the parking lot of the Five Points Motor Service Center, for sale by
one of their customers, a Joey Guthrie (336) 841-8409.  One of the
employees said that the asking price was $1300.00, but I got the
impression that the price was very negotiable.  The current owner used
it for a couple seasons as a hunting vehicle.

Here's what I noted about it, if you have any questions I can check it
out, it's not far from the house:

Zebra/Leaf Pattern green and black flat paint job
Travel Top in pretty good shape, very little rust in gutters, mininal
rust on upper tailgate
Homemade Reese type hitch bumper
extended shackles on rear springs
3 spd trans./twin stick transfer case
Passenger floor/cab mount in fairly good shape
bottom of body on either side below gas tanks completely rusted out
one gas tank
driver side floor and cab mount shot
seat base in good shape
front bucket seats
rear bench seat
bed has serious rust, but not completely gone
front bumper with spare mount and draw hitch attachement points
new rear shocks/fairly new front shocks
15,062 on odometer
3 / 00 inspection
Needs new engine mounts (152)
Fairly new battery
everything intact under hood, seems to be kept up (I haven't heard it
run)
decent tires

Never spoken with the owner, but I can if someone wants to know more.
