79-80 lock cylinders are slightly larger diameter than 78 and earlier
cylinders. You can file out the door to fit them, but the clip that
holds them in is spring steel which will not file or cut properly to
hold the locks in. If you use the clips from the 79 in the 73 doors
after filling open the 73 opening, you can probable buy a new set of
clips from Super Scout. Did you follow that?
