The difference is; on 2wd they put a yoke on the output shaft. To make it 4wd you take off the yoke, put a output gear in place of the yoke(for the Transfercase) and bolt on the transfercase. Something else to consider is putting a divorce mount transfercase behind the tranny. Rik
