Swapping ratios, front or rear

The rear is going to be way easier, Tom already detailed the need to
remove the spindles to get the axles out so the carrier can come out
on the front.
If you unbolt the rear axle shaft retainers and remove them (4 bolts each)
and then remove the brake backing plates and hang them using some wire,
and disconnect the hard line from the housing, then you don't even
have to worry about swapping brake hardware, e-brake cable connections,
and bleeding the brakes. You just keep yours. This is especially valuable

if the swap in axle has been sitting out in the weather, because those
wheel cylinders would probably be rusted anyway.
