My problem with your design, Rob, aside from the thickness, is with my
5/8" rod the nut's themselves are more than an inch thick by themselves.
That would make the bottom plate close to 2". With the design I am
working out thuis will be avoided. Just hang in there when Joe and I get
a prototype done we'll include you in the run.
