Yeah, mine's really not so bad - it runs fine, but it just robs it of some
power.

I dunno Tom.  I would guess that fuel injection would be even more complex
to diagnos.

I was pondering a rebuild, I just don't have time to spend a saturday doing
it. Especially if I come across some funky issue.  If I ask my mechanic,
he'll have my scout for a week before he's done.  Theoretically he could
tune it much better than I, but if one of his helpers does the work then
it'll be of sub-par quality.

What a PITA.  But, fortunately, it is probably a PITA I could live with.
