Scout II bodies

Joe,
I believe the bodies will swap directly, there were no "major" changes to the bodies from '72 model until '80.  Dan N will tell you they had '71 Scout IIs marked as 810s, I rode in it!  Still the same body.
I may have the years a little messed up, but Scout II is Scout II is Scout 810 (don't try to find an 810 I think Dan's got the market cornered).

"I have a chance to get a 73 model in fair mechanical shape (drove it today, exhaust leaks, but runs), but with a terrible body (I thing if I hit 20 MPH, the rust holding it together would shake off!).  I was thinking of repairing my current body, and putting it on the older frame.  is this do-able?"
