Coil

ok, people, 

I think I found my scout's problem.  this afternoon, I put back in my
distrubitor (I'd pulled it out yesterday, cleaned it, painted it, and
also got a bunch of leafs out of the hole it goes in), then, I had the
thought to scheck spark from the coil again.  it's only sparking about
once every 15 seconds (!), and I know the battery is good, as it's been
charging for the l;ast couple days.

did I find it?  is this the sign of a bad coil?  or something else?
