Re: Mixing used ring and pinions?

I understand this, what I want to know, and I Tom agreed with me, is do
I replace the Ring with the Trak-lok with the Ring from the current
front carrier, or do I replace the entire R&P from the front with the
R&P from the back.  
Does the R&P from a rear axle fit into a front axle?
 Then since I think we all agree that I'll be changing the trak-lok ring
with the one from the front, I'll have to redo the shims on the entire
set-up because I'm changing carriers, right?
