Scouters,

I have an MSD Offroad 6.  It doesn't use a ballast resistor.  The points 
only see a tiny signal current.  So I use neither a ballast or 
condenser.  But, they're both in there in case I have to switch back to 
points ignition.

BTW Scout starts immediately even at -7 degrees.  Usually doesn't even 
make two revolutions. 

Having said that, I HATE CARBURETORS.  Grrrr! I have to warm up Scout 
before driving it if it's below 30 degrees.

I'm looking for a valve to put in one exhaust pipe to take the place of 
the heat riser valve.  I'm tired of holding my hand over one pipe for a 
minute in the mornings to speed warmup.
