I'd suggest that you start by dropping that spring and checking to see if
the center bolt hasn't been sheared off allowing the axle to shift.  If
the rear of the spring hasn't been bent, you can probably replace the
bolt and put some clamps around the spring leaves and make it driveable
while you prepare for bigger and better changes.
