Girls and machines

Digesters,
Dan's comments about his girlfriend (lovely girl) and her fancy Ford truck
reminds me of the Country-Western song about the guy who drives his fancy
car into a filling station manned by an old fart, (could have been Howard)
and the old guy starts talking about how he likes the lines, etc., etc., and
all through the song you assume that he's talking about the car because,
after all, this is an old fart, but turns out that he's talking about the
cutie.
Anyway, Dan, neither Howard nor I envied you her truck. Just kidding, Dan,
she is an exceptionally pretty and intelligent young woman. Wanda (my wife
for the rest of you) still occasionally mentions her because she was so
impressed with how classy she was. Funny, she never says "they", just "she".

Regards,
John Hofstetter

Oh, she ended up getting a '96 F150 4x4. And I drive an '84 Mazda B2000.
Talk about penis envy! *grin* One more reason to get my Scout on the
road....
