Swapping 345 oil pan and pickup

"You are correct, for a front sump pan engine, but Tark said his was a rear sump, so the bolt should be there in the correct place. This was so on my 75 rear sump 392 from a T'all.
Epp"

Well, John, Epp
Once again, I screwed up. I hung the engine by the hoist last night to take a closer look. Front sump, oops. I suppose its no big deal, I can pull the pump form the traveler's 345 as well as the pickup and pan. What about a new one though. Are they readily available? It might be cheap piece of mind ($100?).
I still have to change the water inlet, 90 degree job on scout engines, right? I'll also have to block off the old dipstick tube. How is that done on the scouts, via freeze plug? Maybe I'll just plug the dip stick tube up top.
Its out of work early today on the search of the rest of my parts. I'll be busy tomorrow, I'll post my progress.
