That should work as far as I can tell since the 401 and 6-258 in the
pickups and the 6-258 in the Scout all use the same part number flywheel
housing.  It appears the change in the bolt pattern in on the rear of the
engines coincided with the switch from the 6-232 to the 6-258 (in IH's)
as there is one part number for the flywheel housing for the 232 and
another for the 258 with no other differences based on production date,
so a 232 housing will not be of use in a swap.
