I need alternator advice....

To all

Well I found out why my Scout didnt want to start at 5:00 am this 
morning to get me to work. The Alternator is dead...a big negative on 
the alt guage. So what are my options? Isnt there a 70's chevy pickup or 
late model Suburban that has the same housing as 75 345, but has the big 
100 amp output????
