Re: Fuel pump change



Joe,
   Unless the old fuel pump leaks oil, or worst, leaks gas into the oil,
there is no reason to remove the old pump at if you are going to use an
electric. Just remove the fuel lines and put the electric pump in. From
other coments on the digest it is usually advisable to put the pump at
close to the fuel tank as possible, but; for a temporary fix down where
the mechanical pump is will work fine.
