I looked at ALL my trucks and it seems to be that '67/'68 had doggie bones,
and the '70, 72 (which matches your truck exactly except for the 392), and
'73 have what is really clearly a huge horseshoe.  So I guess they went from
doggie bones to the horseshoe in '69.


Interesting,  My 72 1110 4x4 304 and my 68 Travelall 4x2 345 both have
dogbones but my 73 1210 4x4 392 has the horseshoe.
