Re: ihc-digest V6 #368

Good Afternoon,
Howard, I believe wrote about the a-120 4x4 for sale in Eaton, Colorado I
also noticed this and since this is about 20 miles from me I went over to take
look. As mentioned the asking price is $2999. The body is mostly straight, only
a little rust, right now it has extremely oxidized red and white paint on it in a
scheme that suggests that it was some type of service vehicle. The interior is,
well, its there. I didn't get to hear it run since I was there on a Sunday. This
place also has a 1966 1100A 2 wheel ($1900)and a '74 (I believe) Travelall
2-wheel (Price unknown) and a '74 200 4x4 ($3000) All are more or less rust free
but the '66 has some filler in a few places on the cab and the '74 200 is pretty
rough around the edges. If anyone wants more info on any of these trucks I
would be happy to go back and check 'em out but all the prices seem a little
high to me. Personally though I'd be a little careful as this place seems a
little sketchy in general (e.g. they have a '68 dart (originally a slant 6 that
ther're trying to pass of as a original 383 car) and many of the vehicles there
seem to be hiding things (i.e. lots 'O bondo buggies).
