What I found in my engine

Hello,
        I took the valve covers off my 345 to clean the drain back
channels. The passenger side rear  channel was my main concern.
I was right it was blocked. Blocked by a 3/4"x3/8" x 1/8" piece of
plastic!?!?!? I have no idea what it is or how it got there. Upon further
inspection I also found part of an electrical wire tie (don't know what
there called but they bind wire together.) Had to quit looking because it
was dark. 
        I took the air pump and the air manifolds off. What happens when
the Scout runs without the holes plugged? Will it just sound like I have
an exhaust leak?
        Well it's morning, so it's off to see what else I can find under
the v.c.'s . Hop on my bike to go get the bolts and put it back together
before work tomorrow. You can bet I'm dropping the oil pan as soon as I
can. Can't wait to see what I'll find in there.
