Re: Gas Milage Award?

John and all,
I don't think I related the full details about my towing of Good
home. I used a 9' flat bed roll on with dual axles and surge brakes. I
have no idea what the trailoralone weighs, but; with a Scout on it I
figure it weighed in at 6000 lbs. easy. With a 345, auto, 3.07's and
Carter AFB it pulled pretty good on the highway, but; from dead stops it
was a little hard starting off. I averaged 10 MPG the whole trip, one
tank full.
