1 or 2 degrees is usually OK.. for drag cars, the diff is setup to sit
low a few degrees, so that under power, when the pinion walks, it's
zeroed.

2 degree shims could be required becuase of having arch at the point
where the center pin is on the lift springs, vs. stock springs.
There are also shims provided with lift kits to lessen the severity of
the u-joint angles.. NOT necessarily to make them parallel, but to help
the U-joints survive.. i.e., slow-speed 4wd use perhaps..
