Why are axle bearings different?
One more thing.
When we were doing the axle bearings, the bearings were different between
left and right. One side has the non-tempered sleeve that you can cut off
with a chisel. The other has a hardened sleeve that has to be pressed off.
I thought that maybe the DPO had replaced one side at one time or another
but, lo and behold, the new ones came the same way.
What gives?
