Y'know what's funny, Dan? I was just starting to get to the point where I
was sitting here going, "Well.. *now* what am I going to tackle next?"... I
was running out of ideas to modify and enhance....

Luckily, I drug home those two Scout carcasses to build into a racer... more
creative engineering to be done!

Then again, I could probably try finishing other tasks first... like the
twin-stick Dana 20 that's *still* on my bench since June (and now waiting
for Bronco gears, too)...

On the good-news side, the '72 Scout II is slowly coming apart for the frame
off... no motor, no radiator, no trans, no transfer case, no driveshafts...
only one front hub left on it, and one rear axle shaft... no seats... I'm
getting closer to gutting it down to the bare frame.

In fact, I was looking at it this weekend, thinking maybe I should just
unbolt the body tub, undo the steering column and the m/c brake lines, put
some 2x4s under the body tub, and just lift the whole thing up off the frame
and roll the chassis out from underneath it... that much closer... hey, I'd
have the body off the frame then. :-)

Too many projects to get done... and too many "external" pursuits to follow....

:)
