Rob,

I have a sand blaster and also made a nice big steel blasting cabinet.  
You can recycle the media.  Just blast on clean concrete and sweep it up 
and sift it thorough a strainer back into the hopper, been doing it a 
long time.

Be sure to cover up and wear a mask.  You will have sand in places you 
didn't know you had places.  That part is not fun.
