Why drop the driveshaft? Just put the TC in neutral and flat tow away. No
dolly, no trailer. But, remember your moving twice as much weight and
stopping it as well, with the same braking system so adjust accordingly.

I'd put the spare parts, at least the heavy ones, in the Ford's bed to get
some weight back there and to avoid making the towed Tall any heavier.
