Tom M's Fouling Problem

Perhaps Tom's problem is that the metering block is warped
and/or not sealing to the carb body.  I have heard of this
problem on Holley carbs.  I would have said "Power Valve",
but Tom said he replaced that and got no change.  So I'd
say he should remove the bowl and metering block and
check it for flatness on the sealing surface.
