Towing: WB vs. Weight

I concede that one, mass is #1. In fact, after I posted I wondered how I left
that out. A while back Joel made the guess that weight was why the T'all
seemed to have a reputation for being a better tow vehicle than the very
similiar but slightly longer wb Suburban.

Of course, as everybody can tell, I hate to post without actual knowledge
of the facts <g>, so, um, Howard, I think it would be a good idea if you would pull
some strings and get me a loaner 9670 for next year so I can compare
them head to head... purely for scientific purposes, of course!! You know,
somebody's got to do it. (don't forget the CD player- A/C is standard, isn't it??
- are they available with sleeper cabs?).

It probably would have lower fuel costs!
