Bob,

  He said it had to do with introducing dangerous oversteer or understeer
if the vehicle wasn't factory designed to have sway bars.  Especially true
on vehicles that have spring or body lifts.  That's his opinion, but he's
well thought of in automotive circles where "performance handling" is a big
factor.  Personally, I haven't got a clue, just passing on his warnings.
