I made an earlier post regarding Tom's plug problem, but I never got a chance to read any follow up on it. Did you rule out oil leaking past an umbrella seal for the intake valve, Tom? I had this problem on a 350 motor once, but am not familiar enough with the IH motor to know if the same thing can happen to it. Ralph 1977 Scout II
